The University of Sindh has recently announced its MPhil/PhD Scholarship Program for November 2023 through a recent advertisement. Applications are welcomed from candidates with Sindh province domicile, with preference given to those from Thatta Sujawal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants seeking admission to the M.Phil. program should hold a Bachelor’s degree (BS IV-year/M.Sc.) with a second class (45% or above) in disciplines such as biology, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, environmental science, freshwater biology and fisheries, marine biology, microbiology, geology, geography, physics, or zoology.

Interested candidates must be registered or enrolled in M.Phil. or Ph.D. programs within the fields of biology, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, environmental science, freshwater biology and fisheries, marine biology, marine science, microbiology, geology, geography, or zoology at universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Successful applicants for the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs will focus their research on marine biology, specifically in the coastal areas of Thatta and Sujawal districts.

How to Apply?

Please ensure that your applications are submitted to the Camp Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Sindh Thatta Campus, located in the AC-II Building at the University of Sindh Jamshoro, no later than December 30, 2023. Only candidates who are shortlisted will be invited for an interview.
