The Government of Punjab, through its Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education, has issued a recent advertisement in August 2023, announcing job opportunities in the field of literacy and non-formal basic education.
They are inviting online applications from qualified candidates to register as Potential Teachers under the TALEEM Programme. These job openings are available in five districts of South Punjab, namely Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan (including Taunsa), Muzaffargarh, R.Y. Khan, and Rajanpur.
Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply for these government jobs in Punjab. Upon successful completion of the application process, eligible candidates may secure employment in Pakistan through this program.

How to Apply?
To complete the registration process, the candidate must enroll a minimum of forty (40) Out-of-School-Children aged 8-14 years in their community, who are below the primary level. Failure to achieve this quota will result in an incomplete registration.
To support the registration department, a teacher will be hired on a part-time, time-bound, honorary, or contract basis for duration of one (01) year. This appointment may be extended based on satisfactory performance. The teacher will work within the Union Council where they permanently reside.
The selected teacher will be responsible for arranging a suitable room to establish a center. All applications must be submitted by no later than September 11, 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
